SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM oHoH

What Do You Get Back From The SPO?

Sponsoring a child will have several benefits. Besides your personal satisfaction of helping a underprivileged child to become an educated youngster, oHoH will regularly send you newsletters with the latest information regarding the projects supported. How are these progressing? Have there been any major developments, positive or negative? Will there be any new projects starting soon? What exactly has happened with your money?

oHoH believes in a holistic approach to improve the life of the Nepali children, of which education forms an important aspect. As a direct result, we not only keep our sponsors informed about the general wellbeing of the children, but also about their progress at school. Normally, schools have between 2 and 4 exam periods during a school year. Once available, we forward you the exam results, allowing you to follow the educational development of the child/ren.

Of course we will provide you with a photo of your sponsor child. This way the child is not just a random number on a mark sheet but becomes part of your life. The child gets a face and with that we hope you will not just see a strange child but a child in whose life you, as their sponsor, play a huge role. Without the sponsoring the child might well have ended up uneducated and might therefore have a miserable life. As sponsor you will directly and indirectly provide the child with the possibility for a new start to a better and “richer” life.

We encourage our sponsors to come to Nepal to see how they have become part of the child’s life. What a difference their sponsorship has made, and makes to the child. We can help with hotel bookings, airport pickups and/or planning of (day)trips to further enhance your visit to, and with us.
